This first-year project explores the design of a multi-classroom facility in Haymarket, with a primary focus on disease prevention in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The proposal reimagines educational spaces by integrating adaptive layouts, natural ventilation strategies, and spatial distancing measures to ensure a safe and flexible learning environment.

The design prioritises open-air circulation, modular classrooms, and controlled entry points to minimise contact while maintaining connectivity. Large openings and outdoor learning areas enhance airflow, while carefully selected materials contribute to hygiene and ease of maintenance. Beyond functionality, the project seeks to create a welcoming and engaging educational atmosphere, balancing health-conscious design with an inspiring setting for students and educators.
